Go figure..

Ruby's cake. Yes the red icing
did have that special effect
on the kids and a few parents

big breath now...

Now this was funny. Ruby loves to
push things, especially the washing
trolley. Cheap entertainment. Pauline
went for a walk to get the paper, with
Ruby and trolley in tow.

Amber and Granny P. Those big red
cheeks were the precursor to teeth.

Ruby helping our neighbour clean
her car. That's what you get when
there's no fence.

Did my mum tell you how much i
love food

Amber and her Great Nan,who
is 83 and drove herself here to visit.
She's a pretty amazing woman.

Apparently she just needs a goatee...

Dad and some of his girls

That kiwi ingenuity

I think Churchie's wanted to hire one
of these all his life. Almost bucked
him off a few times.

They're feeding me. Hooray for food
and i have 2 teeth!!

Bubble making with Granny P

Churchie's ingenuity with our newly
topsoiled yard. Underneath that
topsoil is glacial morraine and what
feels like boulders the size of the house!

Hooray - 12/10 and carpet finished today. Nest
almost completed. Just need to do a few things
- touch up paint, paint window sills, install
bathroom bits, install kitchen bench and
missing pieces when they turn up, install
laundry...well we're almost there and
we'll be in by thursday 18th! A few photos of the
progress.
Gib on and plastered. Looking towards the stairs

A bit of a way to go till it's Ruby's room

Some of the kitchen. Bits missing and the bench
not coming for a few more weeks

Upstairs lounge - looking flash and almost done

Amber's 12 days in Dunedin hospital. It was alot
smaller and we thought it was just a jowl which is
pretty fair to her parents as she weighs over 8kgs
at 15 weeks! Some 1 year olds weigh less. But it took a
week on IV antibiotics before her cervical lymphodema
turned into an abscess and she had an operation to
remove the pus and put in a drain. She was
remarkable throughout the whole thing, unlike her
mother, and has resumed blowing raspberries.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the hospital food,
possibly as I didn't have to cook. Bit of a holiday really.
All good now and she's just back to her delightful self.

post operation and somewhat back to normal.

on the way home. Can't get enough of those fingers!!

Nanny shazza came to look after Ruby (and Churchie)

Amber 15 weeks.

First outing in the double buggy. Ruby's been itching
to get into it for a while and to her delight, she has.

We're noticing a trend here of Ruby covered in
vegemite..

the house. Verandah roof and framing
finished. The work mostly moves inside now. Carpet
being laid downstairs on the 28th Sept so Churchie's
got rockets on.

Amber, 14 weeks. Measured yesterday and hit the
70cm mark. Weighs about 7.75kg. That may explain
the double chin. A very happy baby. Does she still
look like Churchie?

We're so stoked that the scaffolding's gone that
we've added another angle for you all to enjoy.
